The demands of late capitalism can be overwhelming, causing us to rush through our days without taking a moment to breathe. I completely understand how exhausting this can be, as I too have experienced it. However, I offer an alternative to this hectic lifestyle. I take pleasure in the small things and encourage slowing down. Lingering is my favourite pastime and I find joy in the decadent and luxurious things in life, such as fine food, good lighting and a lovely glass of wine. These are the things that we often overlook in our busy lives, but I believe they are what make life worth living.
